| Bio: | Lois Ann Scheidt is a doctoral student studying Computer-Mediated Communication at SLIS, Indiana University. She is a research assistant for Susan Herring, their current research includes the BROG project: Blog Research on Genre. Scheidt’s research focuses include adolescents in online communities, Human-Computer Interaction, and Human Subjects Committees/Institutional Review Board policies as they relate to online research. Her prior work experience includes sixteen years in Human Resource Management, culminating with manufacturing plant level management positions. Scheidt received her BS in Theatre from Ball State University, MPA in Human Resources and Labor Management from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, and MIS from Indiana University. |
